Electrical Insulation Paint For Steel
Electrical Insulation Paint for Steel is a specialized surface treatment engineered to provide a highly durable and effective insulating layer on steel substrates used in electrical apparatus. This product is developed through specific modification of epoxy resin chemistry to optimize its adhesion and performance on ferrous metals. The resulting paint offers a standout combination of properties: it delivers excellent dielectric strength and surface resistivity for reliable electrical isolation, and upon curing, forms an extremely tenacious bond with the steel surface that resists peeling, chipping, or delamination under thermal cycling and vibration. Designed for practicality, this product cures readily at room temperature and exhibits user-friendly application characteristics, including good leveling and a resulting high-gloss, smooth finish that also facilitates visual inspection.
The targeted use of Electrical Insulation Paint for Steel is on the various steel components found within electrical devices. Its most common and critical application is on the magnetic cores-the central, laminated steel structures-of equipment such as dry-type transformers, smoothing and filter reactors, and instrument transformers. Applying this paint to these cores is essential for preventing eddy current losses between laminations and for providing a basic layer of insulation from windings. Beyond cores, it can be used on other steel structural parts within electrical enclosures where electrical isolation from live components is necessary. As a dedicated surface coating formulated for steel, this Electrical Insulation Paint for Steel stands out as a superior insulating solution that combines robust electrical performance with the mechanical durability required for long-term service in demanding electrical environments.

Process Features
Ensure the iron core surface is thoroughly cleaned before applying the iron core insulation coating.
Pre-stir component A thoroughly before taking it out.
Strictly adhere to the A:B ratio of 4:1 when adding component B to the mixer with component A. Mix components A and B thoroughly before use.
Pot life: 30-40 minutes at 25℃ (100g mixture). Ensure the coating is applied within 40 minutes of thorough mixing for optimal results. Otherwise, it will affect the feel and adhesion after curing.
Curing conditions: Surface dry in 4 hours at 25℃, fully cured in 24 hours. Curing time will vary depending on ambient temperature.
