Iron Core Varnish
Iron Core Varnish is a high-performance functional coating formulated using epoxy resin as its primary base, enhanced with specialized additives, and manufactured through unique proprietary processes. This versatile product is designed to deliver excellent electrical insulation properties for safety and efficiency. It also offers impressive weatherability, resisting discoloration or yellowing from exposure. The product features a low viscosity, which facilitates easy application at room temperature and provides excellent processing performance. After the curing cycle is complete, the Iron Core Varnish yields a hard, protective film that is bright, transparent, and exhibits very strong adhesion to the substrate.
The application of product is broad within the electrical equipment sector. It is widely and effectively used for the surface treatment and protection of magnetic cores found in a diverse range of devices, including power and distribution transformers, electric motors, filtering and current-limiting reactors, inductor cores, and solenoid valve cores. Process Characteristics
Thoroughly clean the surface of the iron core before applying the insulating coating.
Take the required amount of component A.
Strictly adhere to the A:B ratio of 2:1 when adding component B to the mixer containing component A. Mix components A and B thoroughly before use.
Pot life: 30-40 minutes at 25℃ (100g mixture). For best results, ensure the coating is applied within 40 minutes of thorough mixing. Otherwise, it will affect the feel and adhesion after curing.
Curing conditions: Surface dry in 4 hours at 25℃, fully cured in 24 hours. Curing time will vary depending on ambient temperature.

Shelf Life and Storage Conditions
Shelf life: 180 days. After the shelf life, the product must pass inspection before use. Store in a well-ventilated, dry place away from fire.
Precautions
The activation period for this product is 40-50 minutes. Please prepare and use immediately. Do not pour unused portion into unmixed products. Ensure proper sealing during storage; otherwise, component B may deteriorate and affect the product's effectiveness.
